NUMAN's UniSub is the universal foundation for listening pleasure, which is not only heard, but also felt.

In the first place, the active mono subwoofer is a component of a home cinema system and has been specially designed for use on multi-channel receivers with a separate subwoofer channel. It also enriches already existing HiFi setups with more depth and sound, giving the audience thrilling goose bumps.

Its 25.4 cm (10") down-firing woofer provides a fat and powerful bass reproduction that delivers precise and distortion-free dynamics in the overall sound range. Home cinema and gaming applications as well as conventional music tracks are efficiently enhanced in their low-frequency sound components.

The aluminium stand with silicon feet reduces unwanted resonances, vibrations and feedback to a minimum. In addition, the bass reflex port has been moved to the front, which allows more freedom in installation in the room.

The NUMAN UniSUB can be integrated into any audio set-up and optimally adapted to existing rooms or personal sound preferences thanks to the variably adjustable transition frequency, phase inversion and main volume control. The result is more than audible!

The speakers of the Reference series are, as the name suggests, the reference when it comes to speaker technology at NUMAN. Carefully selected components and a sophisticated tuning make their sound image unique. Thanks to the classic design and a wide range of colours, they blend seamlessly into every living space.

The NUMAN Reference 802 are two-way shelf speakers and are ideally suited for stereo and home cinema applications with high demands. In operation with an active subwoofer and amplifier, monitoring is also a possible area of application. The acoustic image is characterised by a particularly neutral centre image and a breath of fresh air.

The two-way system is equipped with a 16.5 cm (6.5") woofer and a high-frequency speaker with built-in NUMAN sound guide. Aluminium die-cast chassis, ferrite magnets and an optimally stiffened bass reflex wood case damped with acoustic convoluted foam guarantee a captivating listening experience.

For sound tuning, M8 threaded sockets are inserted into the bottom plate of the housing. This way, the spikes can be used directly without complicated conversions. These are optionally available in our shop.

The speakers from the NUMAN Reference series are typical 4 Ohm speakers which harmonise with every amplifier. We recommend a powerful amplifier with an output power of 100 - 150 watts of power and 30 cm of space on all sides. If you use the Reference 802 mainly as satellite speakers in the front or rear area, 30 watts per channel are enough.

With a more naturalistic approach, the Reference series has been designed without any covers. The most sensitive part of the loudspeaker - the tweeter - is protected by a metal grille and withstands every kind of finger attack.

If desired, however, the Reference 802 speakers can easily be fitted with a loudspeaker cover. There are two colours available: elegant silver or understated black. Thanks to the magnetic mounting system, they are easy to install and remove. The covers can be ordered separately or as a set.

The NUMAN Reference 803 is a two-way centre speaker for home cinema systems and multi-channel sound. For this purpose, it offers a fine, nuanced mid-range and high-frequency resolution with a frequency response specially adapted to speech intelligibility. The D'Appolito arrangement provides a particularly wide spatial resolution with broad radiation characteristics. Due to its size, the frequency range goes considerably deeper compared to other models.

For a true home cinema feel, the centre speaker can be placed on sideboards, a loudspeaker stand or directly on the wall under or over the TV. The stand features vibration-resistant silicone feet, which decouple the speaker from the floor and minimise unwanted resonances. The result is a much more precise signal reproduction.

The speakers of the NUMAN Reference series are typical 4 Ohm loudspeakers, which harmonise with every HiFi amplifier. In order to enjoy the full dynamics, it is recommended that you use a powerful amplifier with an output power of 120 - 200 watts.
