The technical centrepiece of the home cinema system is the active subwoofer, which directs and drives the five satellite speakers. The 5" bass-reflex subwoofer produces a round, room-filling overall sound with 200 watts RMS total output in combination with the speakers, consisting of four stands and a centre.

The auna Elegance 5.1 system is extremely connectable and draws its sound from a wide variety of sources: Thanks to the USB and SD ports on the front, the surround system communicates with portable data carriers such as USB sticks and SD cards for easy access to MP3 tracks. The Bluetooth interface also enables wireless streaming via smartphone, tablet or laptop. Via the AUX input on the rear, additional audio components of all kinds, such as computers, CD & MP3 players, can be connected to the auna Areal 825.

Two wired microphones can also be connected to the two 6.3 mm inputs on the front of the subwoofer. The speaker linking of the satellites is done via the supplied RCA cables and is very easily accomplished, while menus and sound settings can be adjusted via the supplied remote control.
