With auna's Areal 653 5.1 channel surround system, you can sit in the middle of the cinema and experience films, music and video games even more intensively than ever before!
The technical centrepiece is the active subwoofer, which directs and drives the five satellite speakers. The side-firing bass reflex subwoofer, in combination with the satellite speakers, creates a round, room-filling overall sound with 5 x 15 watts + 70 watts RMS power.
The surround system communicates with portable data carriers such as USB sticks and MP3 players via the USB port installed on the front, while memory cards with MP3 titles can be integrated via the SD slot. The Bluetooth interface also enables the wireless streaming of music via smartphone, tablet or laptop. Via the AUX input, audio components of all kinds - computers, CD players - can be connected to the auna Areal 653. The 5.1 input set takes surround sound from DVD players and Blu-ray players.
The speaker chain is wired and can be done very easily thanks to the connection diagram on the main unit and the user manual. Menus and sound settings can be adjusted using the supplied remote control.
Visually, the surround system impresses with an elegant overall design that is easily compatible with most furnishing styles. In addition, the display of the main unit has been unobtrusively integrated into the front of the case. The satellite speaker boxes impress with their black high-gloss housing and the pedestal.
