Product description

The auna Amp VT tube amplifier is part of the glorious revival of tube technology, which is celebrating a well-deserved renaissance in domestic Hi-Fi systems not only because of its stylish aesthetics, but above all because of its high-quality sound. Nevertheless, the Amp VT features all the benefits of modern technology: thanks to the Bluetooth connection all audio files can be conveniently streamed via smartphone or tablet, while the amplifier delves into the MP3 libraries of USB data carriers such as USB sticks and USB-MP3 players via a frontally installed USB slot. All other audio sources - such as laptops or tablets - have a rear AUX-In slot. Of course, a high-quality Hi-Fi amplifier like the Amp VT from auna should not be without an optical and a coaxial input.
The impressive electron tubes give the Amp VT its incomparable nostalgic charm and form the visual centrepiece of the appliance. In operational terms, the tubes create an impressive sound that warms the senses and brings out subtleties. The Amp VT tube amplifier from auna is additionally enhanced by its brushed stainless steel front panel.

Great looking and sounding amp. Valve amp for bargain price. Sounds great through headphones. How do they make this for this price ? Bargain. Also has Bluetooth so you can play phone music through it. Looks well built not sure how long valve's will last or how much they will cost to replace. Includes a USB input.

It's not a tube amp, but it sounds fantastic nonetheless! Especially for the price! And it looks fantastic! Great price/appearance and sound quality ratio.

The tubes used in this amp are NOT the ones listed in the manual (6p1 and 6n1). I realized this when I tried to replace them with better ones and the pin count didn't match. Now I have to figure out which ones it actually uses before I can do anything... Can anyone help me?

Yo he recuperado memorias antiguas de 1gb.

I bought it to replace a broken mini hi-fi system, keeping the Philips speakers. The amplifier has a tube preamp that adds warmth to the sound, with a selector for Bluetooth-USB inputs, RCA auxiliary input, and both coaxial and optical digital inputs. I do miss having a few more analog inputs. The amplification section performs adequately, delivering around 20-25W RMS per channel (it's advertised as 35W, but that's probably at 4 ohms). Another drawback I see is that the potentiometer is linear and works effectively between 30% and 70%. Below 30%, there's practically no volume, and above 70%, the volume doesn't increase. The Bluetooth range is adequate, and the front USB input only plays MP3s; it doesn't play FLAC files. It has a button to skip tracks forward and backward. Since it can't manage folders, large USB drives with many songs are difficult to use. I've recovered old 1GB drives. While the build quality isn't quite up to the standard of a Sony or Pioneer unit, it seems to be working well so far. The amplifier's aesthetics are beautiful, with amber lighting, although the VU meter only registers slightly at very high volumes. These minor drawbacks are more than compensated for by the sound quality it delivers. I mainly use it with an old iPod full of music and a Hi-Res MP3/FLAC player. I'm very happy with it so far, especially since I got it on Black Friday at a great price. Highly recommended (for now, let's see if it lasts a long time).

Was solls.

A tube amplifier with hybrid technology. The tube section handles the preamp stage, while the power amp is digital in Class D. This eliminates the need for heavy and expensive power transformers and powerful output tubes. The black protective cap gives the impression of transformers that aren't actually present. With this technology, the amplifier would certainly cost at least €1000. However, tube technology in the preamp stage makes sense because, unlike transistors, tubes have a higher dynamic range and produce linear distortion at their limits. Therefore, a tube sounds cleaner and clearer than a transistor. Thankfully, the manufacturers haven't completely discarded this technology, which they consider outdated from the 70s. It's similar to the vinyl record player: old can still be good, or even better, in the future. But now back to this amp. The sound through my calibrated speakers, with a little help from a subwoofer, is impressive. The digital power amp delivers 2 x 35 watts. This is more than enough to fill a 40m² living room with sound. The amp is equipped with modern input options. Bluetooth is also on board and has a range of over 8 meters. There's an optical input and RCA inputs for CD players or turntables. However, the amplifier doesn't have a built-in phono preamp, but these are readily available on the market. It has a USB port for FAT32-formatted flash drives, and the playback can be selected using the left rotary knob on the amp. There's a headphone jack and a VU meter for displaying the power level. This is more of a novelty feature. There are tone controls for bass and treble, and a volume control that works well. A yellow LED is constantly illuminated when Bluetooth is in use, which doesn't bother me much. The main thing is that everything works very well and sounds good. On the back are four gold-plated speaker terminals, where banana plugs should ideally be used. I had spring clips, and when I tried to screw the terminals on, one of them came loose from the housing. It seems a Chinese employee overtightened the terminals. They were rock solid. I needed two pairs of pliers to loosen them. So be careful, and it's best to use banana plugs right away. Apparently, there are different versions of this amplifier. Some people report that the tubes are just for show and only illuminated from below, or that the unit produces sound even though the tubes are only just warming up. Oh well. I like the amp anyway, and for phono playback, I have a separate tube phono preamp that's switchable and adjustable for MC cartridges.

I had the great pleasure of purchasing your vacuum tube amplifier. At first I was skeptical because the price wasn't high, but when I got home and installed it, I had to change my mind! First of all, design, materials and modernity but with an eye to the past, it has everything, USB, Bluetooth, and analogue outputs and inputs. But I got the surprise by combining it with my turntable and a tube preamplifier, coupling it at the output to my floorstanding speakers. I was amazed! Crystal clear sound, deep bass and never over the top treble. A warm, well-balanced sound that immediately makes you forget all transistor amplifiers. I can only recommend it to everyone! Thank you, now I know that you have put back, at advantageous prices, all the passion for good listening in the HiFi field. PS Last surprise, I discovered that the power transformer is a Toroidal transformer. The state of the art.

Positives: - Sounds surprisingly good for the price (significantly better than, for example, the Fosi Audio BT20A) - Looks stylish - Balanced sound Negatives: - (ASSUMPTION) The volume control doesn't seem to be logarithmic but linear. There's hardly any noticeable increase in volume between half and full volume. - At very low volumes, there are volume differences between the two channels. When I turn the volume up from zero, the left channel comes on first, then the right. - My unit arrived with 6U1 tubes instead of 6P1, contrary to what the instruction manual states (I discovered this the hard way because one of my tubes was defective upon delivery (the marking on the delivered tubes was barely legible), and the replacement 6P1 tubes produced nothing but a massive hum. Only measuring the still-intact tube put me on the right track). - Weak Bluetooth reception. Areas for improvement: - An external connection for a Bluetooth antenna would be desirable (I would have liked to open the device to see if connecting an external antenna is possible, but I don't want to void the warranty). Assessment: Regardless of the different pin assignment and thus the tube configuration, and the volume potentiometer, which is certainly due to the low price and not particularly high quality, this amplifier sounds surprisingly good. This replaces the previously used Fosi Audio BT20A and far surpasses it in sound (the BT20A had a strong midrange emphasis and somehow reminded me of a Pringles can. A strange but apt comparison. Believe me...). The spatial imaging is also significantly better than its predecessor (in my subjective opinion). Even (deliberately) overdriven bass (YouTube: Pharmacist - North Memphis) is reproduced much more cleanly and therefore more pleasantly – it doesn't sound like a baking tray like the previous Class D Fosbury (order both amps, compare them yourself, and agree with me!). Please don't forget that this isn't Gerhard Haas's Circlotron (I have a self-assembled one in my audio room. Parts cost for just two power amps alone: easily €3500 – not including circuit boards, cables, enclosure, or preamp), but for a mere €135, this amp (which sits in my living room under the TV – so the kids don't break the big ones) is more than worth its price. Who should buy this device? Anyone who values the advantages of tubes (smooth, even harmonics) and beautiful sound outside the main music room, without wanting to spend a fortune. Anyone who prefers listening to music rather than heating up the room (tubes will (Hand-warm - Nord Stream 2 is being boycotted and Nord Stream 1 has hardly any throughput) - Perfect as a gift idea for nephew/niece/your own children. Oh, almost forgot: The best thing in my opinion is that if the amplifier was previously connected to, for example, a tablet via Bluetooth, music playback starts automatically as soon as the amplifier is switched back on. I have a dedicated device for streaming, and this function saves me from having to pick up the tablet every time to start playback (Playback can also be controlled from the device itself, i.e., Previous/Next and Play/Pause). Greetings from Middle Franconia
