The technical centrepiece of the home cinema system is the active subwoofer, which directs and powers the five satellite speakers. The 5" bass reflex subwoofer, working together with the speakers—comprising four floorstanding speakers and one centre speaker—produces a rounded, room-filling overall sound with 190 watts RMS total power. Highly versatile in connectivity, the auna Elegance 5.1 system sources its sound from a wide variety of inputs: via the front-mounted USB and SD ports, the surround system communicates with portable data carriers such as USB sticks and SD cards for easy access to MP3 tracks. The Bluetooth interface also enables wireless streaming from smartphones, tablets, or laptops. Additionally, the rear AUX input allows connection of all kinds of audio components, such as computers, CD players, and MP3 players, to the auna Areal Elegance. Two wired microphones can also be connected via the two 6.3 mm inputs located at the back of the subwoofer. The speaker chaining of the satellites is done via speaker terminals and is very straightforward, while menus and sound settings can be adjusted using the included remote control. Visually, the auna Areal Elegance surround system impresses all around and fits perfectly into any living room ambience thanks to its elegant overall design in light wood finish.
