NUMAN’s Retrospective 1979 C is a full-featured two-way centre speaker in D’Appolito design which plays an outstanding role in the interplay between elements of the Retrospective home cinema collective. It differentiates speech reproduction and fully plays out speech quality.

Despite its compact size, the passive membrane construction with two 10 cm (4”) woofers enables surprisingly good bass possibilities. Two 10 cm (4”) midranges, tweeter with silk dome and a sophisticated crossover place an emphasis on speech intelligibility. As far as broad spectrum coverage is concerned, the home cinema experience not only provides excellent picture quality in HD, 4k, Ultra HD, etc., but also a high-quality outstanding sound.

In addition, the modern glass fibre fabric of the low-mid-diaphragm membrane effectively counteracts partial vibrations. This results in silky soft heights, abyssed basses and a lively and vivid reproduction of the medium frequency range. A TECHNICAL REVOLUTION

The most important innovation is immediately apparent: the newly developed WaveGuides optimise the radiation response by integrating the sound guidance of the brilliant tissue tweeter into the baffle. This creates an optical accent which also allows precise positioning accuracy and maximum efficiency. A connection with speaker cables and banana plugs is also possible via the NUMAN connection terminal.
